Real Writing on Racing 💯
I actually had a decent score on one of the rainy Saturdays, so this has been my best Saratoga in quite a while. Great pod this week too.
I haven't ever heard it from you all, but in other places I have heard that people don't want to go through all the work of going through a racing form and placing wagers. A lot of these younger people are studying a ton of data (generally free) and making their plays in various sports. People still want to try to study and beat the game, racing just puts up too many barriers for a reasonable entry into it. My two cents anyway.
"Memorable for all the wrong reasons," nails down this Saratoga meet. Hoping, I can point to Arcangelo after the Travers as a horse I won't soon forget.
