IMO Jackie's Warrior was given a BAD ride, he wanted to go autopilot and hand ride...he never saw the horse on the outside...a little too cocky, got burned.

I don’t think that mattered IMO. Cody’s Wish ran giant. Sometimes you are just second best

Don't agree about Rich Strike. His only fault is he was coming in fresh since June while the others weren't. If anything that was his downfall and why he could 't finish as strong as the others. You seem to forget that he was coming into a race going 1 1/4 off more than two months. Rookie mistake by the trainer. That was a credible 4th and I expect to see him do more in the future with his pedigree and size.

The best thing about yesterday was Fox Sports blatant lack of coverage of woman abuser/choker Chad Brown. If they could give him as much TV face time as they did yesterday for the rest of his life my eyes would be satisfied as well as my ears.

Rich Strike has 2 career wins. He has zero seconds. He has been third three times, all in mi or races or allowance races. Everyone acts as though he has 4 lifetime starts. He is a low rate Mine That Bird.

Mine That Bird won the Derby, 2nd to Rachel A in the Preakness & 3rd in the Belmont. He also was champion in Canada at 2. No 3 year old running this year is as good as MTB ever was. 🙄🤦🏽‍♀️

Epicenter his clearly better.

Epicenter won his first grade 1 yesterday in late August. Clearly he will be better as he matures. But he still doesn’t have a KY derby trophy in his case and MTB & RS do. 😂😂

So does Country House and Orb and Giacomo

It’s September of his three year old year. Rich Strike has won twice. He has never been second. There are no races on the horizon that he will win. (Turfway perhaps?) What exactly am I missing?
